The Prayer of the Holy Rosary - Investigation of his Effect on World and Time

This study reflects on the temporal effectiveness of the Holy Rosary. The relevant theological literature offers but a few references on this question, but more is found in the magisterial teaching. Especially the magisterium of Pope Leo XIII offers arguments. This is examined here, followed by a review of statements of the subsequent Popes up to John Paul II. Inspired by an intuition of Card. Leo Scheffczyk (who himself however has not developed this point), the second part of this study attempts to explain the efficacy of the Rosary in a new way, imbedded in the theology of the covenant. Its relation to the liturgy too is taken into consideration.
