Grateful memory of Henri Cardinal de Lubac on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his death
(FKTh 2021-3, p. 200–221)
In this lecture is presented the painful life of Henri de Lubac. Under the main idea “Mediation as a common task” is described the lasting friendship and cooperation of the two eminent Theologians. In the genuine Ignatian “sentire cum Ecclesia” they were architects of bridges. They understood and performed their role of mediation as interpreters of precious treasures. “Two really great Jesuits of the 20th century” (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger) composed a Catholic symphony for the glorification of God.
