Abstract
Costante Marabelli:
Charles Journet and Thomism in the Corrispondance with Jacques Maritain
(FKTh 2025-4, p. 280–299)
The study focuses on the correspondence between Charles Journet and Jacques Maritain, contained in six volumes, to highlight Journet’s idea of Thomism as a means of deepening understanding of the truth in the context of the problems facing the Church and the modern world. According to the Fribourg theologian, philosophy and theology must be distinguished from each other, but a separation would be detrimental. Thomistic theology must once again become a resource for the renewal of philosophy.
